I’d never heard of Monte La Salle until Danielle and Milenko hired me and my Northfern family team to photograph, film, and DJ/Emcee their wedding last September. When we pulled the venue up on the internet, we were stoked. Danielle and Milenko told us they had dreamt up a romantic Wedding at Monte La Salle and they would LOVE to have us be a part of it.
The wedding day came and we took some time to get to know the romantic setting of Monte La Salle prior to beginning the day. The property is stunning and completely surrounded by vineyards and rolling mountains. Can you ever go wrong with Napa?
The bridesmaids and bride got ready in a less than aesthetically appealing room, but we made the best of it. They laughed and drank and giggled about Danielle and Milenko’s relationship. It was such a great vibe to be around. Isn’t it funny how the getting ready spaces never seem to measure up to the rest of the venue?
The guys got ready in a room on the other side of the property and all the James Bond vibes came out. Milenko slipped into his white tux and the shenanigans began.
The ceremony was a full Catholic mass (haven’t been to one in a while!) and the church itself was stunning and filled with beautiful natural light. The emotions in the room were high and we thoroughly enjoyed documenting the ceremony from every corner of the room.
The cocktail hour and reception was held at Danielle’s family estate in Knight’s Valley in Calistoga. They’re surrounded by vineyards and golden sunlight. We drove around the backroads for their couple’s portraits before heading in for the celebration. Every single detail of the evening was flawless. From the giant charcuterie table to the custom cocktails on the lawn, they left nothing to chance.
We finished the evening off with dancing beneath the stars and lots of dance floor fun.
