Fashionable September Wedding at The Madrona

Kate and Carl gathered their closest family and friends for a truly decadent wedding weekend. They hosted a family dinner at The Matheson on Thursday, September 7th followed by drinks upstairs at Roof 106. The following day they took their wedding guests to Blue Rock Vineyard for a one of a kind tasting and tour experience followed by a 3 course lunch on the farm. That evening, they celebrated their wedding rehearsal with all of their guests gathered around the pool at The Madrona. Cocktails were had, food was eaten, and toasts were made. Kate and her dad sang and played music and it was truly a beautiful celebration.

Wedding Day at The Madrona

On September 9th, Kate and Carl celebrated an incredible wedding day. Kate got ready in the bungalow on The Madrona property and Carl got ready in the main house. Everything ran so incredibly smooth and the vendor team was top-notch. Cathy and her team (COJ Events) was an absolute dream to work with! The florals and greenery created by Marigold SF were out of this world!

I got to work alongside the amazing husband/wife duo of Direct Light Studios (Laura and Dakin) all day and we had an absolute blast together. The team at The Madrona is by far one of my favorites. Out of all the weddings I’ve had the honor to photograph on their property, they never cease to amaze me in how they pull everything off. The food is insane and the cocktails were flowing!

One of the best parts of the night was dancing inside The Madrona with the balloon display in the main hallway! It felt like NYE! The music by Ceremony DJs was epic and he spun vinyl all night! The party was POPPING.

I can’t tell you how much this wedding meant to me. Kate and Carl and truly 2 of the nicest, most wonderful humans I have ever had the pleasure to work with and I am beyond grateful to call them friends now. Their September Wedding at The Madrona was a dream and I can’t wait for the next one I get to photograph at The Madrona.
