San Francisco never fails to steal my heart as you all know by now, and this romantic engagement session with Lizzie and Josh reminded me exactly why. From the stunning eucalyptus groves of The Presidio to the surprising Golden Gate views at Battery Bluff Park, every moment of their session felt like pure magic.

The Presidio: Where Romance Meets History

We began our adventure in The Presidio, where the historic architecture of the homes mingles effortlessly with the natural surroundings. There’s something about this location that always sets the perfect romantic tone for couples. I LOVE bringing clients here. As they walked hand-in-hand beneath the eucalyptus trees, their playfulness started to come out.

However, they weren’t the only stars of the show! Lizzie and Josh’s adorable pup, Nazzy, brought his own charm to their session! His goofy personality added such happiness and authenticity to their story. Sometimes the best photos happen when you embrace those unscripted, real moments.

Golden Hour Magic at Battery Bluff Park

As the evening dipped into golden hour (my favorite!), we ventured to one of San Francisco’s best-kept secrets: Battery Bluff Park. This hidden gem offers some of the most breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge. On this particular evening, Mother Nature put on quite the show.

The setting sun painted the sky in warm, golden hues while the iconic bridge stood majestically in the background. Honestly, I couldn’t even believe how stunning it was. That magical golden light created the most stunning natural spotlight for Lizzie and Josh. Watching them together against this backdrop reminded me why I fell in love with documenting couples in the first place.
