It’s officially the 2nd of January and already I feel more inspired than ever for this coming year. From personal dreams to business goals (big scary ones), I am so ready for 2023. Before we dive into my best wedding photos of 2022, I have a couple thoughts to share.

Looking ahead.

Things are going to be a little different for me this year. I am working on some really big dreams. I can’t wait to take you all along on the journey!

This year is going to be full of TRAVEL and I can’t even wait! From Europe to Mexico to the continental US, I’m thrilled to be hopping on planes, trains, and automobiles and documenting so many amazing humans across the globe. I’m planning on taking a handful of more weddings for 2023, but so far this next year is looking wonderful.

Looking back.

While we’re all jonesing to look ahead at what’s to come, I want to take a moment to reflect back on what an amazing year it has been for me. We closed the chapter on Northfern Wedding Collective (my brother retired from wedding filmmaking as did our DJ), and I officially started booking new clients under my own brand, Melissa Atle.

The people I met along the way of 2022 will forever hold the closest place in my heart. I made some INCREDIBLE connections/friends and was fortunate enough to photograph some amazing weddings for my clients. I am abundantly grateful for their trust in documenting their days and I can’t wait to work with my 2023 clients this coming year.
