Leti and Kevin held their wedding at the UC Berkeley Botanical Gardens on a sunny August afternoon. I met up with them at the Claremont Club and Spa in the Berkeley hills to photograph them getting ready together (honestly MY FAVORITE). Leti was finishing her hair and makeup as I arrived. She and Kevin dressed up and we headed upstairs to the balcony to photograph some scenes of the city views.

After we captured some photos at the hotel we quickly headed out the door to one of their favorite places in the city, Indian Rock. We had massive 180 degree views of Berkeley! Once we were finished, we drove over to UC Botanical Gardens at Berkeley to knock out some family photos and get ready for the ceremony.

The ceremony was held in the amphitheater in the redwood forest which creates such a dynamic scene to photograph. Leti and Kevin exchanged vows and sealed them with a kiss – man I love weddings. All of their guests cheered and we finished our final formal portraits of the day.

Kevin, Leti, and I walked through the greenhouses in the gardens to photograph some portraits of them together while the guests mingled during cocktail hour. Their guests were able to nosh down on some incredible Mexican food (seriously some of the best I’ve EVER had).

We snuck away during dinner for some final couple’s portraits before the sun went down. Afterwards, we joined the party inside for toasts and dancing on the balcony beneath the stars. It was a perfect day for a wedding at UC Botanical Gardens Berkeley.
