Nicole and Anthony…this wedding is almost beyond words, but I’m going to do my best.
Nicole and Anthony have been together for 14 years. Their love is strong and united and they fit each other so wonderfully. They invited their close family out to Cambria, CA to help them celebrate finally tying the knot on the coast overlooking Moonstone Beach. We all stayed at Oceanpoint Ranch and had an incredible time. Anthony’s dad married them while seagulls flew overhead and the wind whipped at our faces. It was absolutely freezing, but the warmth of everyone being together with them overshadowed how cold we all were. After their ceremony, we ate cheese and crackers and drank cocktails before heading in for dinner in The Canteen. Chef served 3 different types of burgers/sandwiches and we ate our hearts out before heading out for sunset photos.
We ran to catch the light. Literally. We knew we wanted to shoot on the bluffs during sunset and then hit the rocks on the water’s edge at last light and we MADE IT. I was sweating, but Nicole and Anthony looked flawless throughout the entire time we spent together. This will forever be one of my favorite weddings I’ve ever had the gift of photographing. I got to spend 2 days hanging with and getting to know them and their families and I will cherish that experience forever.
If you’ve ever considered having an intimate wedding or eloping, I highly recommend it. It’s truly the most intimate and wonderful experience I’ve ever had while shooting a wedding.
Without further ado, here’s their day in my favorite images to help tell their story. I hope you enjoy!
